HOW THE GLP-1 PROGRAM WORKS
1. $165 In office/telemed appointment with one of our nurse practitioners
2. Purchase/Order a $475 3 month supply of FDA approved Semaglutide compounded in combination with B12 or $1200 3 month supply of Tirzepatide that will be picked up at the office with instructions and demonstration of usage. Higher dosages with a different price are available and must be discussed with the medical provider.
3. Start your regimen with an in-clinic instruction on how to inject with a take home information/supply packet. If we are delivering to your door, our staff can do an over the phone/facetime instruction to make you feel comfortable about your new medication.
4. Check in monthly for a quick nurse visit including a weight check, discuss progress/side effects and receive your next month's supply of syringes.
5. At the end of 3 months, have another office visit with a provider to discuss progress, refills & maintenance which is $540 for 3 months of semaglutide and $1200 for 3 months of tirzepatide.
Exercise
30 minutes a day at least 5 days a week….Are you doing it? We all have our favorite routine but please just get moving! Cardio is always a plus for heart health but to improve muscle strength, stimulate your metabolism, and build bone you need weight bearing activities like weight lifting. Find the balance and what is right for you. Mix it up. Have a friend keep you motivated. And most of all, see it as a must in your life! Exercise makes happy hormones, helps detox, clears your mind and keeps you feeling good in your clothes.
Diet
We live in West Texas and South Eastern New Mexico where the food is heavy and the portions are served big! Fad diet systems will always be there to help you get on track but focus on lifestyle modifications and your relationship with food first! There are no cheat days. Own what you eat daily. If you have planned and portioned yourself appropriately, feel proud of your choices. If you have just done what in the past you would call a “cheat day,” own it and go do the things to burn it off and adjust the following meals! Its all about balance! Understand portion sizes, calorie intake, good and bad fats and limit carbohydrates in a healthy way. Have a good relationship with food. Most days you should be eating to live, not living to eat. When the relationship with food is healthy, family gatherings and food splurges can be enjoyable without the horrible remorse following!
